PAARD is an entertainment venue and music venue in The Hague that has existed since 1972. It guarantees a broad and varied program: pop, rock, hip hop, jazz, blues, Americana, world music, stand-up comedy, from concerts to dance, and much more. Within the walls of The Hague's pop temple, you will find two concert halls and a stage café. There is a large hall with a capacity for 1,100 visitors, a small hall for 300 people, and the Paardcafé, which can accommodate 200 music lovers.
The Paard building is accessible to people with disabilities. Some disabilities, conditions, or chronic illnesses are not immediately obvious to others. Therefore, they work with Hidden Disabilities Sunflower – to encourage inclusivity, acceptance, and understanding.
The entrance, foyer, cloakroom, toilet facilities, and both halls (lift) are easily accessible and navigable by wheelchair. Unfortunately, due to the monumental building, Paardcafe is difficult to access for wheelchairs. Furthermore, the PAARD hall consists of standing room only. If a show does have seating, this will be stated per program on the website.
