For visitors who are blind or visually impaired, De Betovering offers a number of performances with audio description (blind interpreter). To see which performances these are, click on the 'Interpreter' filter under Program 2026. If you wish to use an interpreter, you can indicate this when purchasing tickets. When you arrive at the theatre, it is advisable to mention that you have booked a ticket with an interpreter.

Additionally, as a festival, we have selected performances and workshops where there is a lot to hear, such as music and text. You can find these under the filter button 'Suitable for visual impairment'. We made this selection based on the content of the performance or workshop and in consultation with the company or workshop instructor. We ask parents and guardians to assess for themselves whether a performance is suitable for their child, as long as the child is not younger than the stated minimum age.

If you need help with reservations or have questions about this aspect, please contact our Inclusion Project Manager, Sandra Scholtes, at sandra@debetovering.nl. We would be happy to discuss how we can make Festival de Betovering more accessible for you.
