From Saturday 14 to Saturday 21 October there will be various free street theater in the city center of The Hague.

CirQmatiQ – super 3000 (all ages)
Monday 16 to Saturday 21 October between 12 noon and 4 pm - on the Grote Markt
The first fully automatic child improvement machine! A machine that turns every child into the ideal child. Parents slide their loved one, including all the deficiencies that every child has, into one side of the machine and out the other side comes a "perfect" child.

"It's five to twelve! We have to do something before it's too late! This really can't go on, I'm fed up, completely fed up! This is the straw that breaks the camel's back. That's why I'm saying no! No, no, No! I protest, NO! I don't want it! I don't do it! YES! I do the opposite."

The resistance members of AVERECHTS give lessons in protest. Everything is available in the studio: canvases, paint, screen printing, wood, cardboard,... Once each child has finished their handmade scanning material, we set off. The chance of mild anarchy cannot be ruled out.

BankContact (9+)

2 children carry a bench together.
They step into public space.
“Hello, we are from BankContact.
We have a bench and time. Would you like to sit down for a moment?”

Imagine 10 duos (consisting of 20 enthusiastic children) heading into the city, each with a bench under their arm. Their mission? Create connection!
Along the way they invite passers-by to build a bench with them and sit on it. This is the start of a conversation. At the end of each meeting, the children invite their conversation partner to come to the closing moment later that day. After each meeting they take the bench back under their arms and go out again... on the way to the next meeting.

IMPORTANT TO KNOW:
1. YOU MUST REGISTER FOR THIS ACTIVITY!
2. One adult supervisor is required for every two children.
3. Meet at 1.30 pm at the tent for the Decathlon in the Grote Marktstraat!
4. After an introduction, two children, accompanied by an adult, go into town with a bench to invite people to sit on the bench.
5. Everyone will be back at 3:30 PM for a special and musical ending!
