Or the lights are off.

That’s what we say.

But it’s not that simple.

Because between on and off lies a vast, endless world.

On a journey from pitch black to fluorescent pink, past blunt corners, spinning circles and swaying figures. And everywhere there is light, sometimes barely visible, sometimes blinding, sometimes unifying.

In FeL, choreographer Karolien Verlinden investigates where fields of colour overlap and how light manipulates our field of vision. It’s a work of art composed of dance and light, which we’re happy to reprise after a successful run during the 2021–2022 season.
