Six days of Outdoor Enchantment with the first time in Wateringse veld

During the festival week of De Betovering the pop-up mini-festival moves into a different neighborhood every day. In this way, children spread throughout the city in gardens, squares, and parks get to know the festival, art, and culture in a super fun way. This year, De Betovering is once again working closely with housing corporations Haag Wonen, Hof Wonen, and Staedion.

Every day features a surprising program including fries dancing with DJ Frietmachine, the hilarious Jim Jim's Sportclub, or an enchanting live animated film in Point Nemo's caravan. There are surprising performances with dancing socks and singing trousers in Met de Waslijn (Sun, Mon, and Tue) and a swinging culinary show by Buurmans Keukenparade (Thu, Fri, and Sat). Theater Dakota, Theater De Vaillant, Loosduinen Library, Podium Noord, and DAK Kinderopvang also add workshops.

Neighborhood Wish Weave

Visual artist Mourad Aouragh is working every day this year on 6 unique WijkWensWeefKleenklefts. Mourad collects the most beautiful wishes from children in the visited neighborhoods and weaves them together with them into a large work of art. The final result will be unveiled this autumn in various community centers as a lasting memento of the festival.

Performances throughout the city

Every day during the autumn holidays, there is a wide selection of performances and workshops to attend. Almost every cultural institution is participating in the festival with a wonderful program for children up to and including 12 years old. For more information and tickets: www.debetovering.nl.

• Thursday, October 22 Coevordenstraat-Melis Stokelaan (Morgenstond) in collaboration with Staedion
• Friday, October 23, Wijkpark de Horst (Mariahoeve) in collaboration with Hof Wonen
• Saturday, October 24 Dallashof (Wateringseveld new!) in collaboration with Staedion
