Cultural boycott of Israeli institutions and companies

De Betovering is one of the signatories of the cultural boycott of Israel. We, as part of the Dutch and Belgian cultural sector, refuse to stand by any longer in the face of war crimes, crimes against humanity, and what all leading institutions recognize as genocide against the Palestinian people.

By supporting the cultural boycott, we contribute to the cultural pressure that we hope can lead to a permanent ceasefire, respect for fundamental human rights, and an end to the exclusion and destruction of an entire population.

The boycott is not directed against individuals or their background, but against the complicity of Israeli institutions and companies in human rights violations against Palestinians.

“Everyone Welcome” remains our motto for all children who wish to visit our festival, regardless of their origin or background.
