Theater PePijn is located at Nieuwe Schoolstraat 21–23 in The Hague. The theater opens one hour before the start of a performance, and the bar closes at 10:45 PM on performance nights.
At Theater PePijn, you will see a diverse range of cabaret artists, stand-up comedians, and performing artists. Innovative, daring, experimental, and confrontational work is given a stage here. The theater was founded in 1964 by cabaret artist Paul van Vliet and has since been a place where visitors can discover new talent and new material. By now, it is a trusted try-out venue for established cabaret artists and an inspiring stage for up-and-coming talent.
With its retro vibe, small cabaret library, record player, and extensive vinyl collection, Theater PePijn is a unique meeting place. The theater has room for only about 100 visitors, a small stage, and an even smaller dressing room, but it is grand in its experience.
