Rijksmuseum Meermanno

Huis van het boek is the museum that celebrates the love of books. Housed in the atmospheric former residence of Baron Van Westreenen van Tiellandt (1783-1848), the museum focuses on the written and printed book in the past and present. The external form and the development of book design are central to this. The museum organizes temporary exhibitions on both old and modern books approximately four times a year.

Huis van het boek is housed in a monumental building equipped with an elevator, wheelchair lift, and disabled toilet. The exhibition halls are wheelchair accessible. Assistance dogs are always allowed in the museum.
