The Regent

De Regentes is a vibrant neighborhood theater in a unique building. More than a hundred years ago, the building opened its doors as the largest indoor swimming pool in Europe. After a turbulent history, the swimming pool had to close in 1995, after which it eventually found a new purpose as a theater that, with its five halls and two foyers, offers a warm welcome to residents, visitors, emerging and established (performing) artists, partners, and tenants.

Accessibility

For visitors with disabilities, there is a lift available that accommodates a wheelchair. A mobility scooter does not fit in the lift, but a standard wheelchair is available to transfer into if necessary. All rooms are wheelchair accessible and there is an adapted toilet available. The Regent for children
