LàQua 0+
LàQua is a short song that echoes from a mother's womb. The first sound that accompanies, protects, and soothes life even before birth. The title is inspired by the Italian word 'acqua', which means water. Water plays an important role in the performance as an image for the beginning of life.
The performers create a polyphonic soundscape: everything revolves around voice, sound, and repetition. This creates music that is both simple and rich. And even if you might not understand the words, you feel exactly what they mean; like a child learning to recognize their own voice.
After the performance, you can stay in the atmosphere for another fifteen minutes. You can then explore, react, and experience the sounds in your own way.
LàQua was created by Teatro Koreja from Southern Italy and is a warm first theatre experience for babies from 6 months, toddlers, and their caregivers.
