Frank Groothof tells, sings, and dances the story of Peer Gynt. Together with Ries Moonen, he adapted Henrik Ibsen's text into an exciting story. Grieg's beautiful music is played by organist Geerten van de Wetering on the organ of the Kloosterkerk!
Peer Gynt is a free spirit. Work? He wants nothing to do with it. Learn a trade? He has no interest in that. No, he wants to have adventures, dance, and be merry! At a wedding, he meets the beautiful Solvejg, with whom he wants to dance. But her father forbids it. Peer leaves and wanders alone through the mountains, experiences adventures, and after many wanderings, finally returns to his village. Will Solvejg still remember him?
