Pan is a musical performance about loneliness versus friendship, maximum freedom versus power. Loosely based on the famous story of Peter Pan. About the right to be a child and creating your own place in a world you sometimes wish were different.
Peet's parents protect their child from everything that makes life exciting. So they keep Peet at home as much as possible. Longing for endless adventures, Peet therefore plays the game Neverland for days on end. But then suddenly, Peet is dragged into the game. By a boy named Pan.
The island of Neverland promises adventure, play, and freedom. The only rule is that everything follows Pan. That is why he has true followers: the Bois. They follow Pan in everything, but Peet becomes increasingly trapped in this “free” world.
Then a tough woman sails into the small harbor in an enormous boat: Jacky Haak. Peet sees her as a savior, but Jacky has her own ambitions. After all, Neverland is a magnificent island to sell to a tech millionaire and finally become rich and free. Especially if she can offer the island without all those annoying, dirty children.
