Grown-ups work.
And children play. Or go to school. Or they sleep.
And when they are asleep, the grown-ups still have to keep working. In the living room. On their computers. After they have cleaned up the kitchen.
But what do grown-ups actually *really* do? When the children are at school, what do they do all day long? Do they run the world? Or do they make a mess of it? Do those grown-ups actually really hold the reins? Do they really clean up all the mess that everyone leaves lying around all the time? Or is it up to the children to clean everything up later?
For who actually cleans up whose mess?
'GROTE MENSEN' shows, in a child-friendly way, how adults deal with problems that overwhelm them. How often they fail to make the right decision, consciously or unconsciously. But above all, 'GROTE MENSEN' is an ode to the theater. To how imagination can spur us on to creative solutions and cast undeniable problems in a different light.
