Twelve-year-old Olivia sees her world collapse when she, her mother Ingrid, and her little brother Tim are evicted. They find refuge in a bare flat in a squat in a suburb of the city. To protect Tim, Olivia tells him that it is all a movie in which they are the main characters. With laughter and tears, a little magic, and a lot of help from new friends, they discover that they can be heroes in real life too. An uplifting and heartwarming stop-motion film in which love, solidarity, and resourcefulness keep a family in crisis afloat.
