A guided tour specially designed for children with a visual impairment (without an interpreter). 
 
Join us on an adventure in Escher's fantasy world! Together, you will discover art full of patterns and optical illusions at Escher in Het Paleis. Even before the museum opens, a guide will take you on a journey of discovery. You will feel, listen, and use your imagination. With special tactile objects and reliefs, you can truly experience the artworks. This way, you will discover how patterns run, how shapes fit together, and how Escher got his ideas. Did you know that Escher was inspired by the Spanish-Islamic palace Alhambra? There, he saw colorful mosaic patterns and other decorations on the floor, walls, and ceiling! Contemporary artists and makers are also inspired by these Islamic patterns, and by Escher! During the tour, these stories come to life!
