The entire audience plays along with this swinging show full of boomwhackers

BoomBOOMwhakalaa! is a joyful spectacle for young and old, featuring drums and rhythms from all over the world. The show is full of sketches and Caribbean songs that make it impossible to sit still. 

During the performance, students have to figure out exactly what BoomBOOMwhakalaa! means. For Ramon, it is something tasty involving food… For Djem, it is something Romantic?! For Roël, it has long been clear what it means, namely dancing, singing, and making music together! 

Drumdrumdrum uses well-known and lesser-known instruments such as the congas, the surdo, and the BoomInstrument, also known as the Boomophone, made especially for this performance! Everyone is welcome to join in with 'boomwhackers,' the colorful plastic tubes used to make music. The concert is a true percussion explosion with unprecedented timbres and sing-along songs for everyone. 

Before you know it, you'll have a boomwhacker in your hand yourself and join in with the musicians of BoomBOOMwhakalaa!
