Safe visit during corona

Down here you can find the precautionary measures we expect for the festival in 2021. These allow us to welcome you in a safe and hospitable way.

 

In short

  • Stay home if you have a fever or a cold
  • Keeping a distance of 1.5 metres between yourself and others is not mandatory anymore, but keeping some distance is still recommended
  • Wash your hands often and cough or sneeze into your elbow
  • If possible, buy your tickets online in advance
  • Check the location’s website shortly before your visit 

Basic rules

The health and safety of our audience, employees and artists come first. That’s why it’s important that you only attend the festival if you’re healthy that you wash your hands often and cough and sneeze into your elbow, and to buy your tickets in advance, online or by phone if possible. Maintaining the 1.5m distance is not mandatory anymore, but keeping some distance is still recommended. 

 

Location-dependant

The participating theatres and museums stricktly follow the guidelines of the RIVM. This means that thought has gone into hygiene and walking routes, for audience as well as cast and crew. The workings of these rules differ per location. Check the website of the location just before your visit. An example of what you can expect is that they may ask you not to arrive too early, to use disinfectant gel or to bring your coat and/or drink into the auditorium. Sometimes payment is restricted to cards only.

 

Get access with the Corona ticket

Most of our venues also require a Corona ticket for visitors aged 13 years and up. 

Children under the age of 13 do not need a Corona ticket.
When visiting museums and libraries no Corona ticket is needed, unless you visit a performance. You need a Corona ticket if you wish to visit a performance in a library or museum. 

 

Corona ticket: the QR code on your phone in the CoronaCheck app proving that you have been vaccinated (>2 weeks), that you have recently had corona (6 mnth), or that you have tested negative for corona (<24h). You can also make a printed version of your Corona ticket via CoronaCheck.nl. Do not forget to bring a valid ID (for visitors aged 14 and up).

 

Did you come to The Netherlands with a DCC (Digital Corona Certificat for EU travellers)? Then you can use the same QR-code to enter activities if your DCC is based on a proof of vaccination or a proof of recovery. In case you need to get tested for entry, go to Testenvoortoegang.org (choose English). A negative testresult is valid for 24 hours.

 

In the auditorium

The seating in the auditorium is arranged in accordance with current safety regulations. If these regulations change, resulting in an audience capacity that is lower than the number of tickets sold, tickets will be refunded.

 

On stage

The regulations do not require actors and dancers to keep 1.5m distance. If the regulations become stricter, we have a back-up plan for nearly every performance.
