When there wasn’t anything yet.
Everything has a beginning and an end, but that end is the beginning of something new. And so you can go on endlessly. It is the same for paper. Three object manipulators tell a wordless tale and leave nothing to chance. Although… what if the paper tears? Then they simply make it into something else.
After seeing this performance, paper will never again be ‘just’ paper. Because you can love it, cry over it, it can give you a fright or take you to a world that wasn’t here before. Well… perhaps it was, but you couldn’t see it yet.
The puppet made of paper was introduced to the greater public during a TV show called ‘Popster’, where he was simply born out of three bits of wrapping paper.
